Clare holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her internship at The Schools Group, a program that provides mental health services to children in Chicago Public Schools. After graduate school, she worked for several years in clinical and case management positions at Eating Recovery Center in Chicago in the residential, partial-hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care.
Clare’s therapeutic work and counseling is informed by evidence-based practices such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Client-Centered Therapy. Clare believes in tailoring her approach to fit the specific needs of the individual.

I decided to become a therapist because I am passionate about helping individuals learn the tools to cope with life’s obstacles while at the same time offering a safe and supportive environment. There is no better feeling than watching someone walk away with increased freedom and excitement about being present in their own life. My personal therapy style is best described as calm, approachable, and genuine. In my spare time I enjoy reading, spending time with friends and family, cooking, and travelling.
While her office is located in downtown Chicago next to Millenium park for in-person sessions, she also welcomes and serves clients for online therapy from anywhere in Illinois. Clients from the Chicagoland area may choose in-office or online therapy and usually commute from surrounding areas such as River North, South Loop, West Loop, Gold Coast, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Lake View, Logan Square, Wicker Park, Bucktown and many more.
