A note from Elisabeth:

decided to become a therapist because I like connecting with people, and I care deeply for others. I am motivated to help you access your inner strength and wisdom when faced with difficulties in life. My approach to therapy is warm and non-judgmental. Life is hard. It can help to have a safe place to bring feelings of stress however they manifest: anxiety, depression, disordered eating or chronic health conditions. I am keenly aware of the relationship between mental and physical health.

In my spare time I love to be with my friends and family, watch movies and documentaries, take in art and music in many forms and walk for exercise. I have recently moved to Chicago from North Carolina, and I look forward to exploring The Windy City as I settle in to my new home.

While her office is located in downtown Chicago next to Millenium park for in-person sessions, she also welcomes and serves clients for online therapy from anywhere in Illinois. Clients from the Chicagoland area may choose in-office or online therapy.
