These practices provide practical techniques that have been shown to lead to both symptom reduction and cognitive-behavioral changes that support long term well-being.

Her thesis investigated predictors of treatment outcome for adolescents struggling with Bulimia Nervosa. After internship, she worked for many years in higher level of care settings at Insight Behavioral Health Center/Eating Recovery Center of Chicago. Chelsea worked with both adolescents and adults treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD, self-injury & trauma in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Before pursuing private practice, Chelsea held the Clinical Manager position at the Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program at Eating Recovery Center of Chicago.

A note from Chelsea:

I decided to become a therapist because I love hearing about people's life stories, have a passion for helping others and could not imagine being in a line of work that was not focused on supporting humanity in some way.

My personal therapy style is best described as authentic, relaxed and direct. My spare time is spent with friends and family - my cute baby daughter, my hilarious husband, 2 kitties, and my dear parents as well as cooking, baking and enjoying the outdoors.

Chelsea believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship, being authentic with her clients, collaborating with them on goals, and tailoring treatment to meet their specific needs.

While her office is located in downtown Chicago next to Millenium park for in-person sessions, she also welcomes and serves clients for online therapy from anywhere in Illinois. Clients from the Chicagoland area may choose in-office or online therapy and usually commute from surrounding areas such as River North, South Loop, West Loop, Gold Coast, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Lake View, Logan Square, Wicker Park, Bucktown and many more.
